Die CDU-Vorsitzende Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer tritt zurück und verzichtet auf die Kanzlerkandidatur. Das lässt den schlechten Zustand der CDU erkennen. Sie ist wohl auf dem Weg, den die SPD schon hinter sich hat. Verteidigungsministerin soll Frau Kramp-Karrenbauer bleiben.
